I am a wife, mother of 10 and grandmother of 1 (so far). I live in a small town in Texas where I homeschool, raise my kids and stay constantly in awe of the goodness of God. I like to sing and write and create things with my hands and teach. When I'm not busy at home, I like to sing in the church choir, teach bible study, speak for women's meetings, and spend time in nature.

Every year about this time, I begin seeing the articles pop up that tell us how we should simplify our Christmas to leave more time for ourselves. Suggestions include things like limiting decoration to only one room or baking only one kind of cookie...
