The Atkins Family have been singing for over 30 years and are Bible believing, born again Christians who love doing the Lords work. It started out with Don Atkins, the grandfather, back in the 70's and now it is his son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren carrying on the ministry. Now, they are a full-time group doing over 150 dates a year. The group now consists of Tim Atkins (the father), Teresa Atkins (the mother), Jamie Atkins (oldest son), Crystal Atkins (Jamie's wife). Tim & Jamie have a God- given talent for music. Tim plays drums, bass and guitar. Jamie plays the bass and saxophone in every service, but he can also play drums, guitar and about anything else he wants too. At the age of 9 Austin Atkins ( Jamie & Crystal's son) is following in his dads foot steps and now plays drums for the group. The Atkins Family travel all over the country singing and ministering where ever God will open doors for them. They have opened up for Karen Peck and New River at her annual homecoming, and sang with many others including Jody Brown Indian Family, The Roy Knight Singers, Namoi and the Segos, and The Campbells. They also sang on stage at the SGMA Fanfair for the past two years. Where ever they go they just try to obey the Lord and let Him have His way in each and every service and hope to see souls saved. Teresa and Jason have the wonderful God-given talent of writing songs and Jamie has a great musical talent for arranging music, so they do a lot of original songs. They have just finished their 6th CD with this group entitled There is Hope which has original songs on it. Their new single out now is Can You Imagine written by Teresa & Jason Atkins. About a year ago they signed a contract with Capitol Records in GA and their songs are doing really well. God has really blessed and anointed this group and they hope to go to many more places and spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.
