Cedric and Brenda met as neighbors--young and courageous, but terribly misguided by an environment driven with immorality, crime, and pain. They suffered the lost of their first child as young teenage parents. Their own lives were threatened when Cedric lost control of his souped-up, 1966 Malibu. How do you explain the survival from a car pinned between a house and a light pole, busted gas meter, rear tire lying in the road, and the two passengers walk away with no injuries? How do you account for the survival of a suicide attempt, after laying in an apartment for two days, two hours, and a half with a 22-bullet hole through the head? And how do you rationalize the escape of young wounded hearts and shattered dreams?
As Cedric and Brenda share their story of the agony in being lost to the glory in being found, people are saved and lives are changed through the wonders of God. This couple has shared across cultures, throughout denominations, and throughout the United States and Trinidad. Cedric and Brenda were called, in August 1993, to pioneer Christ Centered Fellowship Ministries, INC in Kansas City, Missouri. They presently host the Diamond of Faith Radio Broadcast on 890 AM KGGN and http://www.kggnam.com, that airs each Sunday morning from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and Friday afternoons from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cedric has shared his story on the television show Something Beautiful. They have been frequent guests on KTAJ TV 16, and helped pioneer the show, Live At Six. While Cedric served as a counselor with Heart of America Teen Challenge, he also assisted in the prison ministry to Jackson County Prison. Cedric has shared his testimony with the Full Gospel Businessmen's chapters, high schools, outdoor rallies, and businesses. And now through God's loving power, Cedric and Brenda tag team in marriage counseling, exhorting the body of Christ, and reaching the lost.
Acts 1:8--"After the Holy Ghost is come then we will receive power to be and to do, to the glory of God forever". Amen.
