I've always been a late bloomer...always...in every way. I dont know if it's because I'm kind of a "space-case" and it takes me awhile to catch on or what! But, at the age of 47, I'm finally getting myself established with God's call on my life. I knew my gifts and talents were in the area of music ministry, but it's become more and more evident over the years that God has called me on a specific music mission of honor. I'm a hard-core patriot and no group of people tugs at my heart strings more than our nation's troops and veterans. So, it is with a deep passion and an absolute conviction that I have custom-built a music ministry geared to glorify God and inspire honor and appreciation for the members of our heroic military, past and present. This isn't a mission born of the 9-11 tragedy or the War on Terror. It's been building in my heart since I was a little girl during the Vietnam War. See, I told you it takes me awhile to catch on! It doesn't really matter because God's timing is perfect. Anyway, I hope you'll read on and learn a little more about me and visit my website to get the whole story.....
I was born into a loving Christian family and raised in Kamiah, Idaho - a small town located on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation. My dad worked in the timber industry and my mom was a traditional homemaker. Both of my parents were musicians, so music always had a special place while my sister, brother, and I were growing up. In fact, reunions with the Frazier clan always had three main ingredients: lots of love, big laughs, and MUSIC. As cliche´ as it sounds, I clearly remember getting pulled away from playing with my cousins to perform a recital piece on an old upright piano that had been moved out onto the front porch of my Aunt and Uncle's house. These get-togethers were full-fledged jam sessions with guitars, fiddles, banjos, rattle-bones, and even a jews harp and a musical saw. You don't really appreciate those times until you get older and realize that - "not everybody's family did that!" What a gift, and what precious
memories I have...
After graduating from high school I went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in education and a minor in music at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. I now live in Craigmont, Idaho where my husband and son farm on the beautiful Camas Prairie. Our daughter currently attends the University of Idaho.
I taught piano in my home for several years and eventually became the community librarian. I worked during school hours so I could be home while my kids were growing up. I resigned from the library district a few years ago to devote more time to my music. I have been singing and playing piano since childhood, and discovered song-writing during my college years. I serve as pianist and choir member at Winchester Community Church where I am continually blessed by my loving "church family." I'm now surviving displaced motherhood by pursuing my passion to honor God, our troops, and our veterans with - "I See America - faith..family..freedom"
