MY BIO:
A Heart For God & a Christian all my life...I love the Lord with all my heart and soul & can't help but want to sing His Praises. Just ask my parents! When other kids were singing nursery, rhythms at 3, I would make up my own words to a song. Mostly likely due to not remembering actual lyrics but a hint of what was to come. By age 7 I was beginning to listen to radio tunes and try to pick out a bit by ear of the melody or a few chords as I sang along. My parents began to notice my piano attempts and quickly got me lessons by age 8. Lessons would continue through middle school. It wasn't until age 11 that song writing and singing began to blossom . My first memory was co-writing it with a childhood best friend. Over the years I would chart out my tunes record them on a cassette tape! Yes, we had cassette tapes way back then! I even with the help of my piano teacher would sing my very first demo Christmas song Tittled ''The Babe''. Throughout my highschool yrs.I was apart of the choir. Our school choir would perform for at evening school concerts and travel to our local college to sing for the college students. At my very own graduation pre-ceremony We performed as well! Senor mother's tea was extra special as classmates of mine & I sang one of the Judd's song we as a trio. We each sang a solo part as well! Oh the memories I remember one of the girls stalling when it was her turn! I was afriad we'd get off track and lost if one of us didn't start singing the next line ASAP! So Bold Me... chimmed in with her lyrics until she could join back in. That was a nerve racking moment. By the grace of God, we all made it through the song okay. Oh the joys of performing! LOL

My hobbies included at this time also were, figure skating & lessons,swimming, vacationing, bible study workbooks and time with God! Once Married I took off from writing for I thought My chance at music had past with now a family to raise. Always now and then a song would stir in my heart and I would write it down just for fun.It wasn't until a few years I would returned to music again. I first began just simply posting my songs written for the missing on my Org. site. I am co-Founder of L&C Missing Ribbons Organization. My dear friend, Gina, (the Founder) & We began it as a legacy for Laci Peterson & her unborn baby & for the many Missing & Remembered. The song I wrote for the missing have touched many families missing a loved-one or A Remembered child over the years. It was then I realized God was using my song writing to to bring comfort to parents of the missing. I was both moved and humbled by this. It wasn't until, I began to poured my heart, into a melody for the missing that I knew God had a plan for my music. I continue to this day songwriting for the missing as well. It's been a long journey with my music. Feeling called to do so, I have finally begun getting my music out to the public more these last few years. God all along, had s plan for music in my life. I am grateful for His Steadfast Loving Plans that never fail! I am honored he has allowed me this opportunity with music. He who began a good work in (us/ me)is faithful to complete it! Music is a true gift from God and I couldn't write or sing with out Him in my life. He is the reason I sing! May God bless Every one that hears the music he stirs with in my heart. Blessings, Melanie

I am stll in the process of getting ready to work on my first C.D.project as you know. Things are coming along but like anything in life,taking time to pull all the pieces together.Looking at both possibilities of creating an E.P OR L.P. version.I am hoping to record in the studio later this year.! With God's help it can be done! It's just praying His way be done not mine!Trying to juggle music and work is not an easy task!Praying He makes a way for both!
