General Interests
Creative expression is my life-line. Art, singing, music, writing, acting and jewelry-making are my strongest leanings. It is where I heal, where I grow, where I release into God's hands and let Him catch me. I love spending time with my husband (golfing of all things, which I am just starting to learn), playing or walking with my kids, reading scripture (because I learn so much), doing yoga or tai chi. I also love learning about how our minds/bodies/emotions interact for our physical and emotional health. We are truly awe-filledly made.
Music
Kathy Troccoli is one of my favorites. Her songs nourish my heart. Nicole Mullen is a new enjoyment. Natalie Grant and Nichole Nordeman are phenomonal. My friend Tia Ciferno (a local artist) is also amazing. I also listen to Air1 or Klove on the internet to discover new groups/sounds. My tastes are pretty eclectic and go through cycles.
Books
I love "Mister God, This is Anna", "The Chronicles of Narnia", Madeleine L'Engle's "Walking on Water" and "Cirlce of Stones" (which are incredibly inspiring for any aspiring artists of any genre). I love books that come alive and leave me wanting to write something that touches you like that.
Movies/TV
I like old detective shows like Matlock, Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder (even Quincy). Project Runway is incredibly creative and the only reality show I watch. Some of my favorite movies currently are "Under the Tuscan Sun", "Stranger than Fiction", "The Illusionist" and "National Treasure. " I also love old comedies, like I grew up watching on Sunday afternoons at my Pa's house.

I moved to Ohio from New England this past year with my husband and four active step-kids. It has been a learning experience and a lot of trusting in God.
