*Longsuffering - Pain for Spiritual Gain* (Are you getting yours, or are you eluding it by honoring God with your lips and denying the power thereof?)
Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
Who...me? Well, just an only, lonely little voice crying out in the wilderness; First born (Levite...first fruit, sanctioned of God).
That look on my face? It is just the intensity of the power of God. Snatched out of circles, robbed, cheated and cast out & down but not utterly destroyed; Walked on, back bitten, persecuted, accused and left for half dead. Kicked out of synagogues for being "peculiar" but steadfast for Truth which is Christ. (Chastenings, corrections, diciplines and rebukes, although for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous and have been told to depise it not and to endure it...Hebrews 12). I fear God and not our adversary. I am not bound by "every wind of doctrine" and do not "heap unto myself many" thinking power is in this, because the "Holy Ghost/Spirit" is my guide and teacher. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for in it is the hope unto salvation of "souls". (The battle is for souls.)
"Hallelujah to the King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords"!!! Blessed be His Wonderful and Precious name..."JESUS the CHRIST" (Annointed One)...Now let the redeemed of the Lord say "so" and every knee bow down in worship at the sound of His Great name!!! "Delight In The Will of The Lord"!
(Psalm 40)
I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
Many O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest. I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
Withold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord make haste to help me.
Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil. Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, "The Lord Be Magnified". But I am poor and needy; yet, the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
"Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame."...(Rev.16:15)

Quiet Of The Storm

Well folks, spiritually speaking, it appears we are just entering into the quiet of the storm; which means, there is another experience of violent turbulence coming up hereafter. It would be a "wise" thing to take this time to recollect ourselves, an...

It is much too easy to say "I love God" through recently purged lips, as wickedness lies in the shadows awaiting upon such a one; to re-occupy and indulge in activities that appeared to have been abandoned; all because there was only one thing lackin...

Ready For A Change

The hardest thing to do is to convince or persuade someone to have a change of heart, especially when their heart condition is not set for change. The heart must be "prepared" to receive the "Word", as the earth (ground) must be "tilled" to receive t...

Those three prayers are still very much a part of my life. Lately, I've been falling asleep as soon as I hit the bed, so I have to pray all three in the morning before I crawl out.
Blessings to you.

Hi, Harvey!
Wow, I was just getting ready to send you a little greeting when "CELEBRATE" came on to welcome me to your website. Fine, except I forgot I had my volume almost at the highest setting. Nearly knocked me out of my chair. ha! That would have made a great "Funniest Home Videos" if someone had been recording my reaction.
ANYWAY..I pray the Lord's rich blessings on your life today and throughout the week. I love your friendly smile and warm spirit.
Take care!
