I am a wife, mother of 2 grown and married children, and grandmother of 3 adorable grandsons. As a musician, I have been a church organist and children's choir director, also play the flute and write music. I enjoy quilting, needlework, reading and travel.
God has blessed me with the gift and inspiration to write poetry. Each week I add a new inspirational poem on my website, and I hope you will read those and the ones on my blog here. The poetry God inspires me to write is intended to uplift and encourage others facing difficulties in life, as I do in dealing with lupus and fibromyalgia. Two books of inspirational poetry I have written have been published, Beautiful Moments of Joy and Peace, which expresses God's beauty, the beauty of creation, and the joy and peace that can only come from God, and Abiding hope and Love, which contains poems on hope, love, children, music, the Bible and nature.
A new children's book has been accepted for publication by Guardian Angel Publishing, to be released in 2010.
