What a beautiful day The Lord gave us today!!!!!

God has kept his hand up over me and for this and many other things I am thankful. I write songs for myself and others. I have a voice that people say sounds like "John Denver". I have felt like I have been held back in my songwriting by some associations I have belonged to and now I feel I can blossom. I write all genres and styles of music.....as a friend once told me: "you can't keep a butterfly in a box". I love to record and also to perform live. I own my own recording studio in Farmer City, Il called "Laughing Mouse Studio". Currently I play with a gospel band, The Clementine Band and also perform alone. My roots are in Rock and Country....sort of a weird combination but, have found Christian and Country Christian Music more to my liking. In the last 5 years I have recorded 5 Cd's, the 4th of which is called "Sang'reel" which is French meaning "Holy Blood"
The most recent Compact Disc is called IXOYE- The Journey. It is a rock opera, the story of one man's journey tho the Savior. Butch Watkins of Sharecropper Internet Radio had this to say when he reviewed the CD:
TEE CARLSON - The Journey
Tee Carlson takes us on a journey with his newest release,
' The Journey '. He takes us from wretched sinner to redeemed soul
trapped in a mortal, sinful body.
Tee Carlson's music can be best described as 'a working man's'
music. Straight forward playing (i.e. guitar, bass, drums, keyboards),
with a clear no-nonsense production. His songs are laced with tender
mercies as well as ' hard as steel ' truths. From the opening,
'Overture' ( bagpipes are always a cool way to start off an album ),
to the shuffling 'Maxwell Street', you will hear a story of a man lost
in sin in need of a living savior. 'Pacing The Cage', 'The Storm
Within', and 'Thank God' take us to through the redemption process.
From that point on, it's nothing but 'glory, glory, glory' for the
songs that follow.
This project shows off Tee's writing and musicianship. It's one
thing to write a song, but it's another thing to take that song and
create a finished product to give to the world. Tee has excelled at
this on this album.
This is a must have album for anyone on 'the journey'.

Gospel Opera Complete!!!!!!!

The Gospel Rock Opera is completed. The music comes straight from my heart and of course is in praise to the one who died so all men (and women) would live. The music is quite diverse; it flows from baroque through country and folk with a little roc...

Hey Friends,
I just wanted to tell you some exciting news: Tee is in the process of writing a "Rock Gospel Opera". He plans on spending 6 to 8 months writing and recording it. The final result should be fantastic. May God bless each and all.

This months trail mix for your journey on the Narrow Path is titled "The Pain behind my Smile...is still comforted by His hand in mine" was prayerfully and meticulously prepared His help, for you....Enjoy!
The smile on my face doesn't mean my life is perfect! It does mean that I do appreciate what I have and what Jehovah Jireh has blessed me with! (author unknown) Selah~Shalom!
I can testify that this is a fact. My life has been QUITE far from perfect; however, through His eyes and love, I appreciate the good as well as the bad moments in my life; the valleys as well as the mountaintop experiences; the joyful expressions of "Hallelujah's" intermixed with "God, where are you, I'm hurting, and only you can relieve the pain?"
It goes without saying that the path I walk has had its difficulties and moments of complete and utter despair, but also there have been those times where I was led to drink from the springs and rivers so timely placed to refresh, revive and lift me up!
There have been moments of complete respite in your arms; and because of this peace and comfort, I can most assuredly say, "I would have it no other way."
This is exactly where I want to be, in both the good and bad times, because I know that it is my Savior and Shepherd who holds me by my hands through it all!
I have no doubt, whatsoever, that Romans 8:28 (We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose - RSV) is meant for each of us as we traverse the Narrow, yet difficult Path through life that leads to heaven...Shalom!
Now, always be hopeful....and go, and sin no more!
Pastor Paul
