He's hoping that if he returns home and honors a promise he made years ago, he will finally find peace.

The Someday List (2009)
Rachelle Covington has it all. A fabulous home, a handsome and prestigious husband, two beautiful children, and a place in the upper crust that's quite comfortable. But her life is not all it's cracked up to be. When her husband goes away on business trip and the kids are sent off to the grandparents for a month, Rachelle takes up the challenge of a dying friend to start a list of things to do before she dies. She heads back to Jubilant, Texas, to reconnect with her past, her purpose, and herself. But when her ex shows up in town looking very fine and very single, Rachelle must confront feelings she thought she'd long buried. Will she give up everything to recover the past? Or will she find a reason to plan for the future? The Someday List is an honest look at what makes us who we are and what can throw us off track.

Speak To My Heart (2004)
Serena Jasper is a young professional woman on her way up the corporate ladder in a large advertising firm. She's always been close to her mother, especially since the death of her father. But when Serena learns of a devastating family secret, she feels betrayed by the one she trusted most.

As she questions how someone as devout as her mother could have lied to her for years, Serena pulls away from both family and faith. Without the haven of hearth and home, she flounders as she tries to help a girlfriend trapped in an abusive relationship. Burying herself in her prestigious career doesn't help either. With the help of a possible new love in her life, Serena realizes that, instead of resisting the voice, she needs to listen to the One who speaks to her heart.

About Stacy Hawkins Adams
Thanks for stopping by my ShoutLife page.

I'm a lifelong writer who pens novels with characters that are like me and people I know - trying to live fully and faithfully and trusting God to lead the way. Though we often fall short, God's grace is ever present. You'll likely recognize yourself, your relatives or your friends in my characters, and by book's end, I hope you'll find yourself reconnected to the only Source that matters.

I'm also a professional speaker who loves helping people recognize and achieve their divine potential and purpose. I know first-hand how hard it can be to leave one's comfort zone. After a decade-plus career as a newspaper reporter and occasional TV personality, I took the leap of faith to write books and speak full-time. You can find my occasional freelance articles in Heart & Soul and Gospel Today magazines, on Crosswalk.com and in AARP's Bulletin and The Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Other Important Info:

1) Faith in Christ guides and sustains me;

3) Writing is my passion, and

2) Between those two falls what I consider my most important earthly task - nurturing my young family. My husband and I are blessed with a son and daughter. Imagine living with Donnie and Marie Osmond (with a tan!) and you've got my two pegged.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My sixth novel, Dreams That Won't Let Go, will be released nationwide in January 2010.
My fourth and fifth books, The Someday List, and Worth a Thousand Words, were released in January and June 2009, respectively, and continue to climb various bestsellers lists.
These three novels - part of the Jubilant Soul series - offer an honest and inspiring look at how and where we search for happiness and peace outside of ourselves when God has placed it within us from the beginning of our existence.
The challenges and temptations these characters face on the road to this realization will keep you turning pages and leave you inspired to trust more, love more and live more.
Please stop by my website and read excerpts of each of these books!
