My friends call me JP, I'm 44yrs of age and been a Born-again Believer now for 20+ yrs!
I've been playing Guitar for nearly 30yrs now, and are rather known for my technical skills, speed, use of EXOTIC Theory, and articulation. One of my main goals here is to hopefully form a local "Christian Metal/Neo-classical/Progressive/Gothic band with tons of "ambience and unexpected twists and turns"... I love to use advanced theory, scales from other lands (Hungarian Gypsy, Egyptonic etc,.) and seriously praying for "Ministry" potential, I just need the other musicians to complete the project! God Willing!
I'm also skilled in teaching beginner to advanced Guitar technique, theory, left-right hand articulation, speed picking, Apeggio Sweeping methods, Exotics etc...
not to mention an avid "lover of the instrument PERIOD".>>>
I do everything from Killer "Custom Graphics" (Pics to upload soon) to Radical modifications/repairs/setups/Monkey-Grip Handles (Steve Vai JEM type) etc etc etc!
SO, this to say, I"m seeking other Christian Musicians to colaborate with, as well as meeting up with anyone here who just "Loves our Lord JESUS CHRIST"... He truly ROCKS!!!
+++ Playing influences are basically all the Neo-classical progressive metal LEAD Virtuoso players (which is definitely what i am deemed)... my main talents lie in my LEAD Guitar playing, but also very skilled composer of rather unorthodox harmony-laden, hard-drive'n, artistic/crafty Metal... I might add that I'm also a powerful lead Vocalist and just dying to get out there spread'n the Gospel of Jesus with FIRE...
I have many stage/theatrical ideas to match the power of the musical impact... Amen!
