I LOVE TO WRITE but it can't compare to being saved. As a believer that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died, was buried, and rose again in order to save me from my sins, I know where I will be the moment my life here on earth is ended.
As a wife, I know what is expected of me from God, and occasionally from my husband (whom I love and cherish very much).
As a mother, I know that my life and the lives of my children are in the hands of an all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, eternal, holy, just, and loving Creator.
As an author, I am compelled to see the world, not through man's eyes, not even through my eyes, but through the eyes of an all-seeing God, as He exposes it and His plans for it in His Holy Word.
My life becomes defined, not by what I believe about myself (because I know that my heart, despite my efforts, is deceitful), but by the Creator's hand as He works within me to mold me into a new creation. So, though I have the freedom to make my own decisions (and therefore my own mistakes), I know that ultimately I am held in the hands of Someone more wise than myself, more knowledgeable, more righteous, and more powerful than myself. This security propels me into a life guided by God's holy, perfect, and eternal Word, and the adventures, trials, blessings, and riches such a life presents.
I write because I love to write; I write because I am compelled to write; I write because it provides an opportunity to share the Gospel with others. When I designed Faith, Fiction, Fun and Fanciful, my E-zine, I found myself loving every part of the process. I pray that my readers enjoy it as much as I do.

In the course of my fiction writing career I have received advice from many well-intentioned people. However, I have gained a confidence in the direction I am heading that I've never had following their lead.
In the past I occasionally feared if I...

Please accept my apologies, dear readers, for my absence last week. We had a family medical emergency that led to many sleepless nights and long days in three different hospitals. But I'm back now and ready to move forward.

INCITE: Compassion
We all know the story... After a time of careless living the prodigal son returns to the home of a loving father who awaits him with open arms.
Just as this father welcomed his son, at the heart of God's plan of redemption is a father's heart of compassion. Who, regardless of your history, waits for you with open arms.
Link 2 us and be inspired.
