Influences:
My favorite comic in the world, bar none, is Eddie Izzard. I love him, I love his writing, his performance, and I wish I dressed as well as he does. Also Moms Mabley (I watched her on The Tonight Show when I was a kid - she was so funny and so different!), Rich Jeni, Ellen DeGeneres, and Paula Poundstone, Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Jake Johanssen, and Jerry Seinfeld.

Cartoon Influences: Roz Chast, Edward Gorey, Tim Burton, Charles Addams
TV Shows:
I've been on: A&E's "Evening At The Improv" and "Comedy on The Road" and "Bananas" and the Warner Brothers DVD release "Thou Shalt Laugh" and HBO's "Comic Relief" and "Standup Standup" on the Comedy Channel, and I've been on Food Network talking about my Lunchbox Collection and my "prissy coffee" habits; and I was an extra in 7 scenes as well as Second Art Director in "I Was a Zombie for the FBI". I just shot some comedy at HA! Comedy Club in NYC for the Gospel Music Channel, and am shooting an all-female, all-Christian comedy DVD in September, called "Comedy Angels."

My favorite TV SHOWS to WATCH: Project Runway, Ghost Hunters, Top Chef, Absolutely Fabulous, The Office (the original British version), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Most Haunted, Planet Earth; Dick Van Dyke Show, I Love Lucy.

About T.R. Logan

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, T.R. made her home in Denver, Colorado for almost 20 years before landing on the East Coast of Virginia! Which works out, since there is no WEST Coast of Virginia!

T.R. Logan is a standup comic who has appeared on A&E's "Evening At The Improv", "Comedy on the Road", The Comedy Channel, PAX's "Bananas", and Warner Brothers' hit comedy DVD release, "Thou Shalt Laugh". She has opened for Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Drew Carey, Kevin Nealon, Chonda Pierce, and Dana Carvey among others.

Her club work includes Comedy Works Denver, Zanies Chicago, and Catch A Rising Star Las Vegas.

Her extensive live event and church client list includes HBO, The U.S. Army, Hewlitt-Packard, ViCom, Women's Presbytery of the West, MOPS, The Ronald McDonald House, The American Cancer Society, The Salvation Army, Cherry Hills Community Church of Highlands Ranch, Colorado (5 shows), The Christian Comedy Association (4 shows), The MS. Foundation for Women, The Southern Baptist Convention, IHS at DisneyWorld, Focus on the Family, and Habitat for Humanity. She has headlined many women's events, family events, and corporate gatherings, and has consistent "A" ratings from her clients! Please go to www.laughingredhead.com for reference quotes and a more complete list of comedy clients, mainstream AND Christian!

She is CHURCH-CLEAN and CLUB-FUNNY, and SERIOUS about the HUMOR business!

She is also now producing live comedy shows as well, and her "Clean Comedy Nights" for family-friendly entertainment, showcase some of the best clean comics in North America to consistent sell-out crowds!

She is also a cartoonist and author. She loves making folks laugh in print, also! T.R. has done hundreds of greeting cards for companies such as Hallmark Cards and now licenses her Laughing Redhead Studio greeting card line to Recycled Paper Greetings.

Her book work includes "Laughing Out Loud" for Hallmark Gift Books, "Humor for a Sister's Heart" for Howard Publishing/Simon & Schuster. Her cartoon book entitled, "The Older I Get, The Less I Care" is being released in Spring 2008 by Andrews McMeel Publishing.

She is the proud Mom of Andrew (loves photography, Irish Stepdancing, fencing, travel, movies, and Youth Group) and the wife of Gary (loves writing, travel, acting, The Beatles, Charlie Chaplin, and is the author of a Shakespearean pronunciation dictionary - yes, I'm married to a savant).

She LOVES to travel, is addicted to purses (not in a good way), speaks a little Spanish (que es un pecado? No es un pescado!?), and makes a mean guacamole.

Her other website is www.LaughingRedhead.com, check it out for info on the next CLEAN COMEDY NIGHT and booking T.R. Logan!

Amazed and Confused   11/24/2008 - 12:39 AM
I am amazed and confused by God. His hugeness and his attention to infinitesimal detail . . . and his contance. Impressed so strongly by this, in the middle of all my trying to figure out how to get my art and my comedy out there, uploading videos, d... (login or sign up to read more)

Dr. Dobson and Mr. Hyde   10/30/2008 - 10:27 AM
Dobson has been trying, in the tradition of "Frankenfish", to paint Obama as some scary "Fright Night" freak. I picture the guy who wrote the "Letter from 2012" hobbling up to Dobson/Hyde, Igor-like, and saying, "The Letter from 2012 has been prepare... (login or sign up to read more)
