Writing more songs as the Spirit leads and feeling blessed in the Lord
Nov 11, 2009 - 2:14 PM

I am an Evangelist singer/songwriter from Northern Ireland. My song writing skills started after I had taken my guitar to the Ukraine for mission work. Whilst playing I'm in the Lords army at a children's home a young girl who had looked very sad began smiling and clapping her hands as I was playing . I remember praying on the way home and saying to the Lord that it had been worthwhile to take the guitar all the way to the Ukraine just to bring a smile and a moment of happiness to that young girls face. Since I came home I felt the Lord guiding me to write songs and to date I have composed 181 Christian songs. Some of the songs are praise and worship and others are like singing tracts to reach the unsaved. You can also find me at the following sites www.witnessireland.com http://eternalradio.ning.com/profile/josephbeggs and http://W4UTV.flux.com/profile/josephbeggs and www.myspace.com/josephbeggs
I write and record all my songs at home on a Boss BR 1200 digital recording studio with a 40gb hard drive that burns the CDs as well. All my songs are done in the one take and if something goes wrong then its back to the start. I play Ovation semi-acoustic guitars. My best guitar is a limited edition 2003 Ovation but my favourite and the one I use on most of my recordings is a black Ovation pinnacle deluxe. I have also recently purchased a Takamine G Series EG 523 SC which is a beautiful guitar with a beautiful sound.
Over the past 10 years I have been involved in missionary outreach to the Ukraine and more recently to Romania. I have visited many Orphanages, Hospitals, Handicapped Centre, Churches, Prisons ,Rehabilitation Centres and a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre as well as 2 Christian Schools. I have had the joy of seeing many precious souls come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. As well as the mission outreach I also believe in practical Christianity and many 40 foot containers of humanitarian aid have been sent to the Ukraine and Belarus and recently Romania. Containers have contained Life support machines, heart monitors,Ultra Sound machines, electric
beds,Hospital beds , wheelchairs, and clothing and shoes for the orphans etc.
At present I am involved in gaining support for 200 children and to build a Christian school for them in Jinja Uganda.
They say that a picture speaks a thousand words therefore my friends you can view pictures of how great a God we have and what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing on the mission fields in this world in the slideshows and pictures below.
I am humbled and blessed that the Lord would use me a sinner saved by grace and I would love to show you the powerpoint presentations of the missions and tell you of a God that is alive and moving and supplying the need of many in this world.I would also love to be involved in more church meetings to preach and sing or at festivals or praise events for charity or worthwhile causes.
I believe a gift given should be a gift shared.
My prayer is that as you watch the slideshows or listen to the songs that you may be encouraged in the Lord. If you feel led to purchase a song then all money raised will be going towards building the school for the children in JINJA Uganda and mission work in Romania.
Thank you for reading and thank you for listening. May the Lord encourage bless and guide you each and every day.
Your brother and servant in Christ
Joseph Beggs

Carlyle once said, Creation lies before us like a glorious rainbow but the sun that made it lies behind us hidden from us.Nature is the visible garment of God.
My friends when we look at the beauty of Creation how can we not see that their is a God....

Hi Joeseph just dropped by to say hi and say have a blessed day!

Hi Joseph,
It doesn't matter whether you're Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Conservative, or Liturgical you need to be aware of what God is doing in these days through the Messianic movement. The more we understand the roots of our faith in Judaism, the more we can understand what God wants us to know to make that faith grow.
It doesn't matter whether you like rock, country, contemporary, gospel, or hip hop, you need to grow in your musical tastes, and sample the rich tapestry of Messianic Jewish music that is available today. To that end, I would like to introduce you to two amazing Messianic artists, whose musical style is very unique, and totally wonderful.
Deborah Kline-Iantorno's music springs from her Jewish and Puerto Rican roots, and her years as a night club singer. Her songs are exciting, her voice is gorgeous, and the message she brings is right on.
Straight from Jerusalem, Israel, the songs of Rivka Whitten are alive and fresh. Her music is a unique mix of Yemenite Israeli vocals along with rhythms from around the world, and a gifted group of instrumentalists.
Please come on by, and check out a couple of amazing songs that I have put on my page, then you can go to www.newfaithfavorites.com and listen to all of them.
Thanks,
Jim

'The winds of Change' is a beautiful song, brother Joseph.
Taking our brother and sister's hand is the secret of strength with unity. A lesson we should all learn quickly.
Be blessed and keep safe,
Wyn.
