...And Night Falls (2009)
Bullets and blackmail and beaches...

...a hit man and a hurricane and a high-stakes political campaign.

...And Night Falls ramps up the action and suspense when Pensacola native Shelley Goodnight finds the body of a murder victim...but not just any victim. Dead man Farrell Gilbert worked at the desk next to Shelley's in her father's real estate office...an inconvenient fact the authorities can't ignore.

Add a hitman, Hurricane Ivan, and conscientious Deputy Clay Cameron from Santa Rosa County to the mix, and the tension tightens like a corkscrew.

About Tommie Lyn
Not long ago, one of my grandsons said, "Mamaw, I hope that I don't find what I like to do when I'm old, like you did. I hope I find it when I'm young so I can enjoy it for a long time."

You see, I'm a gray-haired grandmother who discovered, about three years ago, that I love to write.

Since that time, I've written many short stories, a screenplay, five novels and have a sixth almost completed in rough draft.

I'm writing, writing, writing, and I'm loving every minute of it.

Hey there!

As someone who came to the writing life a bit late, myself, I'm so looking forward to getting to know you better and learning more about your work. Meanwhile, have yourself a wonderful weekend, and may the good Lord shower you and yours with joys too numerous to count!

Blessings,
Loree

HI, TOMMIE LYN! I love what you wrote in your profile -- about what your grandson said. I have gray hair, too, probably lots of it, but since I dye it who knows how much?

Like you, I also started writing later in life when I was about two years away from retiring from a career in education. To be exact, it was the summer of 2000 when the writing bug bit me, and bit HARD. Since then, I've written about 15-20 manuscripts, ten of which are published. God is indeed good and faithful.

So glad he let that bug bite me. teehee

God's rich blessings on your writing journey
