Michael W. Boler I grew up in a small village in Michigan called Holly. My parents Max and Lucy Boler raised 5 children on a small vegitable farm. My father worked for GM in Flint Michigan and My Mother spent many hours raising us. She also played the organ for St. Rita's Catholic Church on sundays and special occasions. My father died when I was 16 and we moved to Indianapolis. I have a brother and three sisters and we all still live close in Indianapoils. I graduated From North Central High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. I worked as an Operations Specialist. My duties where Radar, Sonar, and Navigation systems in Combat Information Center of the ships that I was posted to. I met my wife Janet of 20 years in New York city while in the Navy. We have 2 children William and Cassandra. After 5 1/2 years in the Navy I started my business Boler Concepts. I have worked in the technology field for the past 17 years. My Life changed when I was nominated and elected to become the Co-Vice President of the Indianapolis Partnership for Faith and Community. The organization only lasted for 2 years but the vision lives on the hearts of many people. I made a promise to God that I would continue to help build relationships with all my heart.




I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1984. It came late at night in the North Atlantic while in route to Africa. We had just endured a 6-½ hour storm with 20ft seas and 20ft swells. Nothing was stable and we had some damage to the ship. The ships Naval Chaplin was not able to give the prayer that night, for the first time in my career in the Navy our captain gave the prayer before Taps (lights out). He assured us all that this was not the worst storm that he had ever been in; he also said that he would never forget it. He informed us that on our port side (left side of ship) nearest land was approximately 700 miles and to the starboard side (right sided of ship) nearest land was 350 miles. His voice changed slightly and said "The only thing between you and 7 miles straight down through icy salt water and something that resembles the ground is 1 inch of steel. Get to know God if you don't know him yet".
I refer to this passage on an attempt to describe the magnificence of our God.

Passage Exodus 33:22:
22 When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.

At that moment I really needed a rock to stand on, a fortress to protect me, refuge from storms, a light to see by, and something to calm my fears. What I was truly afraid of was Death, Dying, Leaving, and Being Left. This fear was warranted with out this passage etched in me.
Passage Romans 6:23:
23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.

And when I said with sincerity and open heart Jesus I surrender all authority to you. Please forgive me of all my sins and do with me, as you will. I was born again and now I am new creature with much to learn.

Passage 1 Peter 5:8:
8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.



Passage 1 Peter 5:9:
9Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
