Biography
Tim Storey has dedicated his life to making people great. Born to a Los Angeles family that was struck by the tragedy of his father's death when Tim was only ten, he believed from the time he was a teenager that his calling was to help others. His dedication and commitment to that dream has made him an acclaimed speaker, writer, and life coach. He has inspired and motivated people of all walks of life from top athletes, entertainment industry executives, and celebrities to adults and children in the most deprived neighborhoods in the country. He is considered someone who can inspire inspiration, a coach for the spirit.
The continued success and highly effective results of his acclaimed inspirational sessions called the Gathering have made Tim Storey a much-sought-after speaker. He is currently in talks with studios to produce and star in his own television show, as well as preparing for the publication of his latest book, Life's Diner, a book detailing the ingredients, recipes and techniques that will make your life a banquet.
Among the people who will attest to Storey's motivational impact and proven success are former sports stars Deion Sanders, Marcus Allen and Darryl Strawberry; business leaders including Lee Iacocca; and entertainment stars such as Quincy Jones, Barry Gordy, Bud Paxton, Robert Downey, Jr., Natalie Cole, and the late Elizabeth Glaser, who called Tim "her private angel."
Building on the knowledge he gained in acquiring a Doctorate of Divinity from Bethany Theological Seminary, Tim Storey has combined his training in theology and counseling with a lot of experience to articulate his caring and inspirational vision of life's truths to people around the world. He has visited 55 countries and spoken to millions - for example, 75,000 at a single meeting in Africa.
He is the author of several books, notably It's Time for Your Comeback, and has hosted a set of motivational audiotapes, Personal Renovation. He has also begun design and production of a jewelry collection with inspirational themes called "Miracles 4 Me."
Tim Storey's vision is to see other people's vision come to pass. Whether individually, in small groups, or speaking to thousands, Storey continues to pursue his dream of making a people's lives hopeful, whole, and worthwhile.
