I will never forget the horrors of highschool. I teach teenagers, empathize with their pain, and write to show them that they are not alone. My Y/A novel about the Hurricane Katrina is currently a work in progress.

I am also a wife and mother of two. In that, I mess up daily but in such grand ways that there is always fodder for both writing and laughter. I write to encourage other parents that they don't have to be perfect.
