This family group has been singing gospel music since 1989. The group consists of 8 members. Parents Wayne and Cathy, Daniel and Lauren, Michael and Shannon, Amanda,and Crystal.

In 2002 the Lord started to open many new doors for this multi talented group. This allowed them to move beyond their familiar home territory to a much larger audience. The Daae Family has toured extensively in Western Canada and a little in the USA. They have sang at Jamborees, Churches, Community events, Fundraisers, Banquets, Carehomes, Schools, TV programs, Telethons and Fairs.
In 2003 they recorded their debut CD "He'll Meet Us There". This Album was nominated for Country Bluegrass Gospel Album of the Year at the Canadian VIBE Awards. In 2004, their second recording,"Together", was nominated for Country Bluegrass Gospel Album of the Year at the Canadian SHAI Awards. The Daae Family was also nominated for Group of the Year at the SHAI Awards. This CD featured their 4 children as they played and sang all 11 songs. All but 3 of the compositions were written by family members. Their 3rd recording "Harvest Time" was released this year. It contains many of their most requested songs, not previously recorded.

Since 2002 this family group has logged thousands of miles traveling and singing for Jesus. They travel fulltime, but when they are not traveling home is in South eastern Saskatchewan Canada, about 12 miles from the USA border. Currently they are working on a bus which they purchased in July 2004, to use in their travels.

Each member of this family accepted Jesus into their lives at a young age and are so happy to be able to serve Him in this way. They plan to continue singing for as long as they can. Music is an amazing tool that helps to open the heart to everything God has for each one of us.
