"Shatter Me" is a 5 piece band that hails from the Dallas, TX region. They have an energy level that is hard to replicate and a live show that will leave you wanting more. Their lyrical content is hard hitting and they make no apologies for being "in your face" about issues that everyone seems to want to "beat around the bush" about. "There is a white elephant in the living room of America and it is time we quit ignoring it", says front man Brad Vanderburg. Completely unaware of any limitations, this band goes for broke every single time. It is not uncommon for the crowd to be left trying to catch their breath in an attempt to keep up with these young lads on stage, not to mention a soar neck the morning after. As if they were schooled in an intense athletic program, they leave everything on stage at shows end. With a variety of influences and styles all melding together, it is truly a unique creation of sound and fury. One moment it is reminiscing of days gone by then accelerates you to something new and unheard of. Intense guitar riffs, punchy bass lines and a solid bottom line are easy to keep your head moving to. Then comes raspy lead vocals topped off with pitch perfect harmonies that will make you want to sing along. It may be time to coin a new phrase here, "power quartet". No matter what style of music you're in to, you will most definitely appreciate the talent level and more than likely will fall in love with their music. Wanting to bring a "wake up call" to "Christian America" while getting down in the gutters with those who are hurting and truly caring for people on a real level is what sets these guys apart. It is not uncommon for them to open their home to a troubled soul. They are either naïve enough or bold enough to believe that everyone can change. Either way, they are never going to turn away from anyone or any situation. Then it is back to the stage to do it all over again.
