Flatmonkey Bmx was created by local Flatland Rider Chris Ridener. Chris has served in the U.S. Military for the past nine years. He has competed in some form of Bmx since 1980. He returned to Flatland Bmx about 3 years ago and started performing demos at military installations. He has a riding spot on Flatstyle Vol. 1, rides for Expo Bmx,Fringe, 1in3 Trinity, SE Bikes, Zoo Ministries, VisionsXpressed, One Praise Magazine, FlatlandFule.com, Texoma Cycling, Air Speed Shoes, MX Optics, Maxxis Tires, 661, and many others.Chris started to bring flatland to the local youth about one year ago and his mission is to eventually open up a national flatland camp for young riders to attend and learn from more experienced riders.
