Dayspring is a group of young men with a love for vocal harmony only surpassed by their love for the Lord. They started out in 1999 as an acappella quintet while still in high school. Within a year these young men were local celebrities in their home town of Americus, GA singing a mixture of contemporary acappella gospel music and vocal arrangements of classic oldies. Dayspring traveled all over Georgia and parts of Alabama singing at youth rallies, revivals, homecomings, weddings, and fairs. They even sang the national anthem at Turner Field on two occasions. The group all but disbanded in 2002 when two of their members left for college. However, in 2007 Dayspring made the move to return to the stage; this time as a Southern Gospel Trio. Today, they are wowing listeners with their astounding harmonies and a youthful energy that is unmatched in southern gospel. They sing with a two fold mission to take the Word of God to a lost and dying world through music and promote the unity of all believers in Christ. Dayspring is tearing down denominational walls everywhere they go and bringing audiences together as Christians despite doctrinal differences. Though the boys who started it all have all grown up; the passion that drives these men is one and the same: A love for God; A love for Music. Two things remain constant with Dayspring; pure vocal harmonies and a humility, which redirects all admiration to the One who gives them the gifts they use to praise His name.
