Elevate came to be about a year ago when founder Brian Pflieger, who had been a solo artist for ten years felt the leading of the Lord in a different direction musically, thus Elevate was born. Elevate is a collaboration of a diverse blend of various musical backgrounds coming together as one voice. The interesting thing about the guys in the band is they have all been friends for years and have played together in some fashion or another many times. It only made sense to come together and form the band. They just finished their first cd entitled "Closer than you think". The enire cd was written by Brian Pflieger and his brother John, and produced by Brian Pflieger and Mike Chauncey. It was birthed out of an experience Brian and John had when their biological father was diagnosed with H.I.V. Through the diffucult time God spoke to them and said "I'm closer than you think" which inspired the entire album. Today Elevate travels all over ministrering in concerts and worship events sharing the saving and keeping grace of God available to all who will call upon Him. Elevate's desire is not only to evangelize the lost but, to lead believers into an intimate worship lifestyle. Elevate would like to give a special thanks to Mike Chauncey.
