The day doesn't look quite done, yet... the sun is still above the horizon, as evidenced by the whiteness of the light at the tops of those clouds. :)
There's a wonderful song by the Vineyard Singers, called "Creation calls" with a line that says in a reverent whispering voice, "As the Sun slips behind the horizon, and night falls, the mountains become silent fortesses, silhouetted against the night sky. The countless stars, shining, in silent testimony..." followed by a rather long instrumental segment with a faint female voice that whispers, "I believe" twice. It is stunningly beautiful! I edited this to :60, and used Rick McConnell's voice over the instrumental part for the sign-off message. That recording was WFIF's sign-off for quite a few years.
When I left the station, they zapped it. :'( Sniff!!
