The Bedazzling Bowl (2006)
What if you discovered your best friend was missing from class on the first day of school? What if your new teacher's name was Miss Canible (Caneblay) and her teeth were almost the size of an alligator's? If you were ten-year-old, Aly M. Bellisher, you would look for answers. If you couldn't find them, your imagination would.

Reviewer: Craig A. Hart (Grand Rapids, Michigan)

Take a young girl heroine like Aly M. Bellisher and combine that with an imaginative author like Wendy Lynn Decker and you get an amusing and clever story filled with adventures and childhood fantasies.

Kids will love this very real heroine, and parents will thank God for the message that is very gently delivered through her story.

Reviewer Kevin Lucia

Aly's travails are very reminiscent of another elementary student that hated change and had a hard time getting things right "good ole" Ramona the Brat and this author's first foray in youth fiction pays a nice homage to Beverly Cleary's star-crossed heroine.

This is the funniest youtube video I've seen in a while. Check out what happens after this toddler takes the microphone on the pulpit. You can definitely tell he's been paying attention at church! http://www.godtube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=9c69... (login or sign up to read more)

Our Quarterly Trip to NYC   7/28/2008 - 11:35 AM
On Saturday, we made our quarterly visit into NYC. It was an awesome day. Not a drop of humidity in the air (so rare in NY or NJ) the temperature was just right. We got lucky and snagged a killer parking spot right on W. Broadway, which rarely happen... (login or sign up to read more)
