I sound like myself!... I am unique in His creation as are you!... but as far as sounding like?? We all sound like someone else... we just may not know who... Does your music have "the Light" in it?... if it does then it sounds "like it Should!!!" Don't do covers...

"Blended Rock Artist, Stan Pollmann, has a genre all of his own...
With a twist of good ole Classic rock, some Country rock and an Acoustic presence "Blended" with Meaningful lyrics and Soul. Guaranteed to deliver excitement and fulfillment."
"But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish the race with joy, and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the Grace of God."
Acts 20:24 (NKJV)
Stan Pollmann has been active in music ministry for over 25 years in many venues from coffee shops to juvenile detention centers and prisons to parks and churches. He is open to ministering wherever the Lord opens the doors. He believes that there is no bad time or place to proclaim the Gospel of Grace in Jesus Christ.
During one of Stan's concerts you will experience many music genres. He is the recipient of the 2009 King Cat Music "Country Artist of the Year", 2007 King Cat Music Awards "Classic Rock Artist of the Year", and nominated in Country, Acoustic, Acoustic Rock and Artist of the Year for 2007& 2008, 2006 KC Christian Music "Classic Rock Artist of the Year", 2006 KCCM Top three "Blues Artist", 2005 KCCM Top three "Acoustic Rock Artist" and the 2002 KC Christian Music "Country Artist of the Year" and is a 1996 member/inductee into the "Nebraska Rocks Music Hall of Fame".
He is also the founder of "White Horse Records and Publishing Company"... and all of these things are nice and accomplishments of a sort, BUT... If your name is not written in the "Lamb's Book of Life" they are all for nothing! The only "tag" to your name that should really count is ..."Saved by the Blood of the Lamb!"
Stan is blessed to be one of Compassion International's Independent Artists. Compassion is the child development ministry who helps the "whole" child throughout the world.

You are so right; all that matters is Christ and if we are in the Lamb's Book of Life and bring others to Christ.

Thanks Stan, good to have you as a friend. Thanks for the compliment, though I question the "young" part. I'll be 56 soon and the youngest guy in the band is 46. We've all been playing for 20+ years. We do it because we love it and really don't care to do anything else. Take care and thanks again.

OOOh, will definitely keep that in my prayers. I had a couple of showcasing opportunities, but they were never the right timing. How many songs will you be singing?
Musically, everything's on hold at the moment, so I'm trying my best to write. I'm experiencing a bit of writer's block, but I think it's more that I keep getting interrupted (by a cute little baby!) during my writing sessions and it just throws me off. I'll come up with a cool riff and then tiny fingers will pound the piano keys and mess me up! LOL. I laugh, but it can be frustrating when you feel like music is waiting to explode from your bones. :P
Got a really neat worship leading opportunity open up, but I've gotta see if I can swing it.
K, that's all for now. :) Talk to you soon!

Thanks for stopping by, Pops. ;)*sigh* Crazy how attached we become to our pets. It's like they become family. CoCo was a good guard dog. She watched over us as if we were her kids. haha. I've been told so many times that Chow Chows are aggressive, mean, and not good with kids, but she was a sweet dog.
All ready for the holidays? Looks like it's just around the corner and to tell you the truth, I have no idea where the year went. It's gone by too fast!

Hi, nice music. I wish I could play like that, but I'm not very versatile.

INCITE: Environment
Just as we concern ourselves with the issue of global warming and its effects on our natural resources, we should also explore the effects of sin on our quality of life, and what we can do to improve our personal environment.
Compassion, love, kindness, gentleness, and yes! even humility are God-given virtues designed to improve our physical and spiritual space. So let us use these virtues in increased measure...We could all stand a breath of fresh air!
