Hi,
I am a stay-at-home mom from Tampa, FL, who came to know the Lord after a devastating illness. When I surrendered my life to God, he healed me!

As a child, my father encouraged my sister and I to write songs --but I never could. Instead, I studied journalism and became a newspaper reporter.

Then, on the first anniversary of my father's death, notes came into my mind as I read from Psalm 18 on December 18, 2001. I was a bit surprised, but I wrote the notes the best I could, realizing David's words rang true as our nation grappled with the tragic Twin Tower attacks.

The melodies came slowly at first. I didn't know what to do with them until my church's talent show. Then I stepped forward to sing "I Will Give Thanks to You" and declare my healing in faith from a goiter. My son, also named David, sang it with me, though he was still 4 years old.

After that, God gave me more and more songs: Enough for three CDs. The first song, "My High Tower," which literally sat on a shelf for two years, blossomed into a choral number. Guess he wanted me to be a writer ... and songwriter!

I have written several ebooks including Fast Track to Victory, A Christian Guidebook, a non-denominational devotions book for new and young believers, also available in print. For preteens and teens, Just Like Jonah Wail Tales is a collection of short stories from modern characters who make bad choices and land in a whale of trouble. They learn, just like Jonah in the Bible, that there is a price to pay when you disobey, but God is faithful to change our circumstances when we turn to him. For 5 to 10 year olds, a children's Bible study, Making Choices: Life is Like Acorns teaches that things are not always what they seem to be.

For Christian writers, I have authored What You Should Know About Self Publishing and What You Should Know Before Hiring a Book Designer.

I also design Christian gift/witnessing/church marketing products with my original nature photographs. In short, I am called to encourage others to seek God and stay connected with his Word -- in whatever way he enables me.
