...now really what is to be said? we are a band... we play music...you may like the music...you may not...that's up to you...we like our music.
Fine then...if you want information here's an elephant load:
Memorable Moment:
Our first gig was at the local Bayview Hotel, on the waterfront in Redcliffe. The previous bands singer is obviously a quiet singer, and or vocalist Andrew is not... as soon as we started our first song... I think he came very close to deafening three quarters of the hotel, with the sound man diving for the vocal fader...now that's what I call a 'moment'...
We have played at local events around Redcliffe... really hoping to play further afield
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Indeed, as long as the contract was not designed to benefit them first (so that means lots of reading very fine print).
Band History:
Prior to involvement in Imaginistic, all the members of the band have been part of other groups.
-Michael was bassist in Hockston Pon and Grog Bog, and has also sung bass in a small choir.
-Andrew seems to always have been a singer of some kind, including tenor in the same choir as Mike.
-Dan was part of a barbershop group as well as being lead guitarist and vocalist in the band Armageddon with Gareth
-Gareth has played in a number of bands including Armageddon, Blue Lava, Inrush and possibly some others that the rest of us don't know about. He was also the drummer for Mediator for one gig.
Equipment used:
Michael plays a cheap and nasty Pro Axe bass (with a very nice sound to it) into a Zoom GFX 707 effects pedal into an Ashdown ABM 400
Gareth plays Pearl drums, Paiste Cymbals, Regal Tip jazz sticks (yes, jazz sticks for hard rock!), and a home made trash set made from little cheap primary school cymbals!
Dan Plays a Yamaha something-or-other (that Yamaha don't list on their site any more) into a Boss GT-8, into a really old Yamaho solid state pyramid amp. Its like he's a walking ad for the Japanese manufacturer...
Andrew Plays a BC Rich Bich neckthrough with EMG 60(neck)/EMG 81 bridge into a Zoom G2.u1 effects pedal, into a dodgy Peavey Bandit 112 (the series before they started making them good)
