Okay, no big fanfare. It's just me. Everywoman. Compulsive, controlling, craving chocolate.
Writing has been my passion since 1960, when Grandma set up an ancient Royal typewriter on a metal table and cold metal stool. My vivid imagination finally had an outlet. All the stories tumbling in my head finally had a place to go--which was good because my mom thought I was crazy.
While my siblings and cousins played outside, I stuck my tush to that metal stool (sometimes literally on hot days) typing stories. Adventurous tales of rescues and damsels in distress. All illustrated by yours truly, and bound with tape. Still have some of them. They're classics. Jilly the Teddy Bear. Flicka and Cathy. Hey, I was seven.
My other passion is Israel and the Jewish people. Makes sense. They're the people of the greatest book of all, the Bible. Hubby and I joined a Messianic Jewish synagogue in Philadelphia, Beth Yeshua thirteen years ago.
These two passions have merged in my writing. Whether fiction or non-fiction, my heart is to see Messianic Jews and Christians one in the Messiah. Because, guess what, when we're one? God will do the impossible!

They say dogs don't have souls. In the Biblical sense, I agree with that. And there's so much poverty and pain in this world, the death of one little doggy probably isn't the most distressing event to dwell on, but . . .
Paco, my daughter's 14-yea...

Hi Terri,
It doesn't matter whether you're Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Conservative, or Liturgical you need to be aware of what God is doing in these days through the Messianic movement. The more we understand the roots of our faith in Judaism, the more we can understand what God wants us to know to make that faith grow.
It doesn't matter whether you like rock, country, contemporary, gospel, or hip hop, you know that people need to grow in their musical tastes, and sample the rich tapestry of Messianic Jewish music that is available today. To that end, I would like to introduce you to two amazing Messianic artists, whose musical style is very unique, and totally wonderful.
Deborah Kline-Iantorno's music springs from her Jewish and Puerto Rican roots, and her years as a night club singer. Her songs are exciting, her voice is gorgeous, and the message she brings is right on.
Straight from Jerusalem, Israel, the songs of Rivka Whitten are alive and fresh. Her music is a unique mix of Yemenite Israeli vocals along with rhythms from around the world, and a gifted group of instrumentalists.
Please come on by, and check out a couple of amazing songs that I have put on my page, then you can go to www.newfaithfavorites.com and listen to all of them.
Thanks,
Jim
