About Us
Over the past ten years, our team has personally seen lives transform as they experience hope, love and acceptance in our venues. We have successfully provided an alternative to the club and bar scene where live music and entertainment is enjoyed in a safe, smoke-and-alcohol-free environment.
In our newly purchased building at 2820 Vine Street in Corryville (just one block from University of Cincinnati's campus), students, recent grads and young adults will find The 86 club to be an oasis in a sea of sameness.
Why 86? What does that mean?
The dictionary defines 86 as "To get rid of, throw out, or discard". Many young adults feel that they have been discarded by their parents, friends, or even society.
We believe that you can drastically change someone's life through acts of kindness and love. Our concert/entertainment venue, "The 86", provides us with a connection point to affect and change this culture of hopelessness.
Vision
Our vision is to see a world where everyone belongs, everyone is loved, and everyone has hope. Through entertainment, concerts and events in a positive, alcohol-free environment, we will provide the rejected and neglected (the 86ed) with a connection point into community, a place to call home, and a place to feel accepted and loved. Through support such as road pastors, practice rooms, recording studios and avenues to express their art, we will provide those with voices into this culture with a launching pad, and ongoing encouragement to impact the culture.
Values
We value relationships, honesty and integrity. We believe in "loving them all and let God sort them out".
