TIMEOUT (2007)
S.O.C.O.M.(Soldier Of Christ On a Mission) first came on the gospel scene in the summer of 2005. He released his freshman album "Tha Arrival" independently under Double Edge Sword Records in February 2006. His first album did excellent being that it was independently released without distribution and sold out a little less than a year later in January 2007. His hit song "Take It To The Churchfloor" blazed radio charts nationwide and was featured on DJ Laces' #25 mixtape, Gospel Skate Jams Vol.2, and Holy & Crunk Vol 1. set to be released early spring 2007.
S.O.C.O.M.'s ministry differs from many because he is a soldier for Christ but he is also a full time soldier in the United States Army. He is a Warrant Officer stationed at Fort Carson. He has been given favor on his life because he serves in the military full-time but has also performed in over 50+ concerts nationwide in 2006. He already has 25 concerts lined up for the early year of 2007 and is still taking booking requests.
His sophomore album due to release April 24, 2007 is sure to set a high standard and blaze radio charts. This album features hit songs Awesome God featuring gospel veteran Tonex, Makeya Fingers Snap feat. Apaulsoul and Unknown, John 3:16, and a song that is sure to touch even the hardest of heart's on an issue of school shootings called I Keep Cryin feat. Scott Tsakeres. This album has a mix of styles to show the versatility of S.O.C.O.M. from Holy South, Midwest, West, and East Coast. This album will definitely have something for everyone no matter your style of music.
S.O.C.O.M. does not just focus on music but focuses on the word of God by studying at the S.O.C.(Servant's Of Christ) Men's ministry in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a ministry for men with real issues for real people. He is also a member of Church For All Nations in which he serves on the media department working the video cameras at the service. When you see a soldier such as S.O.C.O.M. who does full time ministry, full-time soldier in the military and travels the country performing and ministering at numerous events in which most of the time it is at his own expense, you can't do nothing but think and know he is a true soldier for God. He is on the frontlines on this battlefield bringing God's word over beats that reach both the secular and Christian market. S.O.C.O.M. is a real soldier and many lives have been changed and brought to Christ from all across the nation through the ministry God has given him at Double Edge Sword Records.
