It sounds like we're close in our views. I also tend to go more "left" when it comes to animals, environment, and energy, but the balance tips more to the right.

I agree on the school thing as well. (Sigh) We do have some state legislation pending (I think) to give some tax credits to parents who use private schools or who homeschool. It's not a perfect fix, but it's a start...

Please confirm that I haven't driven you away with my right-leaning tendencies. lol (I know you're a bit more liberal than I am, and politics can be a touchy subject for some people.)

Of course, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, that means all's well--no issues, and we can go on with life. :)
