Artist Bio:
Tariq Abubaker was born in Israel, Jerusalem on March 3, 1979. He was born a Muslim. He grew up in Los Angeles, California since the age of 3. He is the middle child, with two sisters. While attending Granada Hills high school, Tariq began to write rhymes and to perform at local parties and clubs developing his rap abilities at age 16. He mainly focused on battle competitions. At the age of 19, Tariq was given the opportunity to attend Prairie View A&M University in Texas. While living on the college campus Tariq began attending church services at the local church his close friend went to. He was still determined to pursue a career in music but one Sunday morning he fell to his knees and converted his life over to Christianity. After giving his life to Jesus Christ, Tariq was still determined to pursue a rap career. However, he couldn't rap about the old Tariq and his ways. Tariq made a commitment to the Lord in 2001 to promote the gospel through his rap music and has never looked back. He is the first Christian in his family. He began to call himself T.I.M.E. shortly after making his commitment to the Lord. He prays that the Lord will save his entire family and believes that he was brought from Jerusalem to do the powerful works of the Lord through his music ministry here in the United States. He is determined to make a name for himself in the music industry and to share his powerful testimony of a Muslim who gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
