Well, I love the way you think! That's exactly what this world needs... more people looking on the BRIGHT side.
I tell my writing students that true talent comes from holding a dull black rock in your hands and imagining what it'll look like all cut and polished. The jewelry world wouldn't be nearly as big if some miner hadn't done just that, and the reading world would be a sad place without writers like you.
So keep writing, m'friend... and maybe someday all those words will end up in books on bookstore shelves!

Hey there! You don't sound rude at all. It was a legitimate question, right?
And the answer is... I had a very troubling childhood and a lot of the time, I was confused and angry. So I wrote down all my gripes and complaints and filled a couple of those stupid black-swirly-covered notebooks teachers make you buy... and before I knew it, I had fallen in love with words, and my problems didn't seem quite so, well, problematic.
So that's what I meant by 'someone like you'. And you seem very nice, too!
