(it was my m-i-l, not MY mom...)
My dad is the oldest of 11. My uncle and I are the same age. Grandma had a new baby every other year like clockwork. From the 1920s until the 1950s.
I'm thinking my grandpa must've been afraid to come home and ask "what's new?" !!

My mom and I are getting all hyped for our upcoming family Thanksgiving feast! We are really in our element on these ocassions! We've got our menu and grocery lists ready to go (we use the same ones every year - lol.) I also have my timelines ready to follow. There's a touch of OCD there. :)
How nice that you have a great mother-in-law. Mine wasn't. She had her moments, I guess. Still, she hated the world and everyone in it. Isn't that a horrible way to live?
I only have a younger sister - 8 years younger. We had absolutely nothing in common while growing up. I was given the responsibility of taking care of her without the authority. Bad combination. If she did something naughty, I was often the one who got in trouble.
Can't imagine 86 foster kids. wow!! My husband's idea of cooking is pouring milk on a bowl of Cheerios. Well, I guess he can make toast now, too! He told me the other day that he wants to cook a meal for me. !!! That should be interesting. :)
Oops, gotta run - someone's at the door. Have a great Friday.

We have 3 daughters, so I can't even begin to understand what you're going through. I applaud your positive attitude. I wonder if put in that same position, would I be as brave as you? I do know the Lord is with you as you wait on your son's return.
I'm glad you were compelled to join SL. I trust this is the beginning of a great friendship!

Thank you so much K, yup I have to say that music is a large part of who I have become - with God's help of course! I enjoy listening as much as writing and making music!
I hope that you will enjoy what you hear, God bless you and stay strong in Him!

I was sending you a comment and it would not go. I just called my cable company because I had lost connection. I'm back! *smiles*
I agree with you. This site has a lot of friendly, helpful people. *smiles*

So happy to meet you here at Shoutlife!
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better as I learn more about you and your work.
When you get a minute, I hope you'll pop over to my Shoutlife profile and my web site to see what the good Lord has had me doing since He convinced me to trade my guitar and microphone for a computer.
I pray that He will shower you and those you love with abundant joy and amazing success!
Big warm hugs to you, my new Shoutlife friend!

(1 Corinthians 10:13)
