Gentlemen At Arms has arrived on the musical landscape with a sound that demands attention. Pairing emotional lyrics, powerful vocals and a musical backing that calls to the artist in all of us, G@A are determined to relay a message of hope through their dynamic sound. The band was begun by lead singer Blake Easter, who has a passion for praise and worship and has lead such in several churches across the country. Gentlemen At Arms dived right in playing more than 80 shows in the first year as a band. They were given the distinction of being the Mars Hill youth band and have lead worship at times for 3000 people. Although this heart to praise the creator remains intact Gentlemen At Arms has grown and a new identity has emerged. G@A members Micah Binegar (bass), Brock West (drums), Jake Pennington (guitar) joined Easter in this pursuit for individuality and soon connected with industry veteran Lynn Nichols (producer/ writer for Mute Math, Mat Kearney, Delirious, and many other seminal acts).Nichols immediately brought G@A into the studio where they drew on influences as diverse as Radiohead, U2, Soundgarden, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Strokes, The Eagles Of Death Metal and Muse to find their inspiration. While these influences are present, with Nichols assistance, Gentlemen At Arms have developed a sound all their own. A sound that is not only original but has a timeless quality, while still holding onto the accessibility of radio play. Simply put these boys bring the rock.As of today, Gentlemen At Arms have moved to Nashville to pursue their dream and continue traveling and performing at venues all over the country. The band wants to fulfill the call on their lives, and hopefully, inspire others to do the same.
