The View From A Hammock (2009)
This is a story of a Vietnam veteran who served his country proudly as a petty officer in US Naval aviation. As a plane captain he completed two tours in Vietnam with the squadron VAW 121,
while being detached to a air group aboard the USS Intrepid. The journey begins on the streets of chicago in 1947. The story continues as he
experiences Vietnam, health problems, an failed marriages. After more than fifty five years he finds what he has been looking for the entire time. He finds what God had planned for him all these years. That peace came when he founded The Hope Children's Mission (Esperanza Mision De Ninos) located in Catemaco, Veracruz Mexico. Meet some of the children, learn how great it feels to help children help themselves. Peace and happiness can be found in strange places.
All proceeds from this book go directly to ther operation of The Hope Children's Mission.

I founded The Hope Children's Mission (Esperanza Mision De Ninos)in 2005. I relocated to Catemaco, Veracruz, Mexico to retire and relax. After being there a short time I saw the need to help children and founded the mission. The mission opened it's doors for the first time with five children between the ages of five and twelve, today we have over 60 children. To learn more about the mission please go to our website www.hopechildrensmission.org
I have just completed my book named "The View From A Hammock" I hope people who read the book will take away something positive.
