Jesus and His love, my childhood choir teacher who never gave up on me "trying to sing" instead inspired me to write my heart words, and my Aunt Lillian who taught me to appreciate ALL styles of music.
Also, various artists such as: Sonny James, Slim Whitman, Randy Travis, Mac Wiseman, Susan Ashton, Annie Herring, Michael W. Smith, Ray Boltz, Carman, Toby Mac, and Kevin Max
Last, but not least, the influences of what I have gone through in life personally, and what others are dealing with everyday.

A.Pote' (pronounced Po tay) is a gifted lyics writer for songs, poems, and cards of sentiment. Yes, she talks as much as she writes. However, she uses her "gift of gab" for the Lord in every opportunity she is given.
Born in the U.S.A., but raised in several countries and states, has given her an opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Even though she was not raised in God's Word, from an early age, she has felt tender compassion for those who were hurting.
After giving her life to Jesus, she traveled our great country, and sadly to say, fell by the wayside. Still, she was never alone, and her life was preserved from dangers many times before she found her way back to her TRUE FRIEND:Jeus. Now, she shares with others how awesome and forgiving her Heavenly Father is to HIS lost "sheep."
Even though she cannot sing or write music; her prayer, her dream, isn't for fame or riches. It is to have her words set to music so they can be shared with others to encourage, heal, or bring them back to the Lord. If you have the music, she has the message to pair with it.

More than 12.4 million people in the world suffer from cancer. That's a lot of people, but the number of loved ones of cancer suffers is even greater. What do you do when a special person in your life is diagnosed with this devastating disease?
When bestselling author Cecil Murphey's wife was diagnosed with high risk breast cancer, he felt helpless. As he says, "I couldn't make her better or take away the diagnosis. I felt powerless and empty. I did for her the only thing I could - and I did it for me as well - I prayed."
He has used his experiences as a loved one and his many years of wisdom gained from being a pastor and hospital chaplain to write "When Someone You Love Has Cancer."
This much-needed book uniquely combines practical ways to help a friend and family member deal with a devastating disease and spirit-lifting thoughts for celebrating the gift of life in the midst of troubles.
