Like most other writers, as a youngster, instead of going to sleep at night, I'd weave stories in my head about stagecoaches chased by robbers and handsome cowboys rescuing damsels in distress or knights in shining armor who stormed castles to save captive princesses. Come morning, I'd write out the stories complete with illustrations and publish the tales myself. All grown up, I'm still weaving those stories.
I was a teacher, proprietor of my own antiques business, and one time DAC (Department of Army Civilian). Now I write full time and dabble in the antiques business.
My husband and I love to travel and the places we've been become story settings. And, in every story, you'll always find a touch of Irish because, being Irish, Ireland is one of my most favorite places this side of heaven.
We live in a Victorian home on the Texas Gulf coast during the winter and escape the heat and humidity for summers at our home in the Rio Grande National Forest of Colorado.
