I was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 29 years ago and I have lived in my current home-town Almere for most of my life. I started playing the piano by the age of 11. I have only had a few piano and some music reading lessons, but managed to play almost anything I liked, by ear.

A few years later I joined a Salvation Army band on trombone, where I have improved my music reading skills. Occasionally I tried out some other musical instruments, just for fun, but my main love always remained the piano. This changed about two years ago, when I was thought how to pray. All though I had been going to Church for most of my life, a real 'Prayer connection' had never been there.

My main love now is Jesus and I love to pray. In March 2008 I have started the Prayer Team Ministry, right here at Shoutlife. Later that year my first song was co-written, produced, performed and recorded by Jonathan, a Belgian Christian singer/songwriter living in The Netherlands.

Big things changed in my life since I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I got inspiration to write "touching lyrics and beautiful music" since, as people who hear my music, say. I have also been blessed with ideas how to improve the Prayer Team Ministry and reach lots of people through Christian music.


Right now I'm composing music for my first instrumental studio album and later this year some recently written songs will be released. I work with a large insurance company at the moment, but I have plans to set up my own business.
