As a songwriter his songs have been recorded by artists such as Brian Littrel (Backstreet Boys), Donnie Osmond, Michael Crawford, Michael English, Avalon, Phillips Craig and Dean, Jump 5, Craig Morgan (country), Charles Billingsley, Allen Asbury, Greg Long and many others. He has won the Dove Award for song of the year and has won Inspirational Song of the Year three times. He also has 38 number one songs in the CCM radio market to his credit.
