Chantall Charles has been creating music since she was a child. She recalls composing songs as she did her chores and singing on her way to and from school. There was no doubt that she would enter the field of music. However, she never wanted to sing Gospel music. It was only after personal struggles and sub sequentially a relationship with God did she commit to writing, arranging, and singing music that glorifies God.

Instrument of Praise - What do you do when you realize that you don't have all the answers? What do you do you after you've done all that we were told to do and still fall short? I realized that although human effort is necessary (working hard/smart, staying focused, etc), I can do nothing without God. Every set back, every heart ache, every good and/or not so good situation is being used as an instrument of praise for His glory.
Hold On - I have had to encourage myself through music. God is making us whole and saying that we are his own. Our job as his children is to hold on as he is molding, keeping and teaching us.
He's All We Need - After a frustrating day at work, I sat by my piano and began to sing. The words and the melody flowed?? 'He's all I'll ever need, ever need. Jesus is all I'll ever need.' Jesus is the missing piece of the puzzle. He brings things in to focus and causes strength in the midst of every moment.
Never Again - I composed Never Again during a point in my life where I needed to decide whose words I would believe. As in many a persons experience, there are those who say that you can not or are unable to accomplish things. Never again was a proclamation to my own soul that I would trust in God's word.
This project is for those who have been hurt, conflicted, those who stood in awe of God's mercy, etc. It is a glimpse into the heart of a woman who has found out through experience that God is??..hope, strength, peace, assurance, etc.
Presently, Chantall is employed as a music educator. She has taught choral and general music for the past ten years. She is also a PHD candidate with a focus on vocal music.
