<----------------- That's me! (metaphorically speaking ;-) And thanks to Lisa Buffaloe for letting me use it!
"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renenwed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king."
- J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord Of The Rings
"It is the Spirit who gives life." - JOHN 6:63
A father of two of the most incredible daughters, both away at college, this native northern Virginian (and a Redskins and Cubs fan!) moved, over two years ago, into a new season of life in central Florida. Divorced in 1998 after a 10-year marriage, transitioning out of the software and technology sales world, taking care of mom and venturing into new career realms gives me enough to say grace over! But I am enjoying the Florida weather, for sure! My prayer is "Lord, continue to fulfill Your purposes in me in this new journey to my life."
Hmmm... so maybe, like others, I may not be where I want to be, but I'm where I need to be for now.
Having crossed paths with some new acquaintances, suffice it to say that I am privileged and honored to be a friend of Mike, Becky, and Devon - here in Florida. He's the incredible guy whose passion for the Lord and for men and families is a blessing to behold. Granite profiled Leader - Marketeer - Busninessman - Radio DJ Extraordinaire, be sure to check-out "Church for Men - Outreach" for some excellent wisdoms, insights, and to gain of sense of what a passionate man's heart can be like - http://churchformenflorida.blogspot.com/.
I'm just one of his big fans and sojourner in Christ.
What a great site and one can't help but be amazed at the incredible talents He has granted to His called-out people!
I found shoutlife.com via BOUNDLESS.ORG. If you are not aware of this amazing EZINE site, CHECK IT OUT! I may not be a twenty-thirty something (targeted market), but they post outstanding and highly relevant content, each week, in their articles. Keeping an eye on the coming generation, this is a goldmine of insight and wisdom.

Lastly, if traveling or relocating to the Northern Virginia/WDC area, be sure to put McLean Bible Church on your list to visit. Really neat church... mcleanbible.org .

In these amazing days in our history and in the state of the world, give it to Mr. Yancy to supply a great perspective on our lives and times and, for me, take it back to this question.... how then shall WE live?
