I live in Vancouver, BC, where you don't have to shovel rain, with my husband, sons, 2 Schnauzers, and a really cuddly lizard. In addition to being an author I'm also a musician, playing piano, bass guitar, and upright fretless bass (which is really fun!) for a local jazz band. My family drew the line when I tried to play the violin, which they made me give back because I'd only borrowed it from a friend. But writing is a quiet activity, so....
