About Tim Wheeler

I'm a songwriter, born and raised in Detroit. I've been writing since I was a teenager. (over 10 years) I started playing the family piano at an early age and took 2 years of piano in high school… my piano teacher used to say it was just enough to make me dangerous.

In 2001, one of my songs was picked up and recorded by a local artist, and I began to pursue writing as a profession. I began making trips to Nashville, networking with local writers and participating in online writing communities.

Over the past few years, I have had some independent cuts, had several songs published and am actively building and pitching my own catalog.

I currently live with my family in the suburbs of Motown. You can find me on the web at www.timwheeler.com or on my myspace page

Mitch Townley and I wrote a song for our daughters who both got married over the last year and a half. We were able to share it as our Daddy-Daughter dance. I've added the song to my playlist. Hope you enjoy it. Tim (login or sign up to read more)

PFC Alex Knapp Fundraiser   4/30/2008 - 9:48 AM
Just to let everyone know, we held a fundraiser last Saturday. It was a pasta dinner. When we met with the head cook before-hand, he told us it was not uncommon to raise $10K at one of these events. Well, it turned out we raised nearly that in... (login or sign up to read more)

Use Your VISA Or The Flowers Will Die!   4/26/2008 - 6:28 AM
The Garden shop is working in synchronized manner with the gardeners in pastel raincoats, aiming their watering hoses in crystal arches. The cafeteria line is in such a groove that the jello is dancing the 2 step, and then some thoughtless dill-wee... (login or sign up to read more)
