About The Amundruds

Please visit our website for an up to date schedule. www.theamundruds.com From churches and concert halls to music festivals and everything in between, Higgins Music Group artists, the Amundruds continue to share the love of Jesus wherever they go. Siblings Gary, Daryl, Lorilyn, and Sheri, joined by their parents, Glen and Linda share a common desire to reach the lost. Although their roots are primarily Christian Country, they have led audiences into wonderful times of praise with their unique style of worship music. Their unique ability to communicate through song has made them a rousing favourite in Christian Country today with their appearances at the Trinity Broadcasting Network, Nashville's infamous Gibson Cafe and Canada's Gospel Music Celebration.

Glen & Linda accepted the Lord in their early 20's shortly after they were married. Their faith has been challenged from time to time. They were unable to have children, but they fasted and prayed. God answered prayer after eight years of longing, trusting and waiting for a miracle. They were blessed with two sons, Gary and Daryl, and two daughters, Lorilyn & Sheri. They all love the Lord and serve Him.

The Amundruds' latest Nashville project entitled "That's Love," released on June 19, 2007, was nominated for Album of the Year in the Country category at the 2007 GMA Covenant Awards. Their song, "When I Think About Jesus" (songwriter: Daryl Amundrud) was nominated for Southern Gospel Song of the Year (2007 GMA Covenant Awards). Their latest project, "That's Love" won Gospel Album of the Year at the 2008 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards (SCMA). Their album, "This Ole House" was nominated for Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year at the 2006 GMA Covenant Awards.

The Amundruds goal is to be a light and a blessing to those they meet. This GMA nominated family group from Lloydminster, Saskatchewan ministers to audiences through their thought-provoking lyrics, talented musical arrangements and life-changing testimonies giving all the glory to God.

Hi Folks,

It doesn't matter whether you're Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Conservative, or Liturgical you need to be aware of what God is doing in these days through the Messianic movement. The more we understand the roots of our faith in Judaism, the more we can understand what God wants us to know to make that faith grow.

It doesn't matter whether you like rock, country, contemporary, gospel, or hip hop, you need to grow in your musical tastes, and sample the rich tapestry of Messianic Jewish music that is available today. To that end, I would like to introduce you to two amazing Messianic artists, whose musical style is very unique, and totally wonderful.

Deborah Kline-Iantorno's music springs from her Jewish and Puerto Rican roots, and her years as a night club singer. Her songs are exciting, her voice is gorgeous, and the message she brings is right on.

Straight from Jerusalem, Israel, the songs of Rivka Whitten are alive and fresh. Her music is a unique mix of Yemenite Israeli vocals along with rhythms from around the world, and a gifted group of instrumentalists.

Please come on by, and check out a couple of amazing songs that I have put on my page, then you can go to www.newfaithfavorites.com and listen to all of them.

Thanks,

Jim

Hey there! (Sorry I'm too lazy to type "Hi, Gary, Daryl, Lorilyn, Sherri, and Linda!") So happy to meet you here at Shoutlife!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you better as I learn more about you and your work.

When you get a minute, I hope you'll pop over to my Shoutlife profile and my web site to see what the good Lord has had me doing since He convinced me to trade my guitar and microphone for a computer.

I pray that He will shower you and those you love with abundant joy and amazing success!

Big warm hugs to you, my new Shoutlife friend!

Eyes on Him,
(1 Corinthians 10:13)

Loree
