Hey our next governor came down to your old hometown, but then again he was running for office! Let us know if you might get down this way!

Hi, Sarah,

Writing is going well. Today, I need to send the proposal and manuscript for Live and Let Fly to EDGE. Then I start revising Discovery and working on Gapman! Plus, I have a steampunk story going in my mind I need to at least map out. Busy, busy!

'Sup with you?

Blessings,
Karina

Hey Sarah,
Kit initiated our group, which was greatly appreciated. If you get down here to Hampton Roads, give us a holler as we could probably pull together a quick get together. We have two with manuscripts out, one is agented, one formerly agented, both of those are in historical. Also have a couple of contemporary unpubbed. There is another published author but she has not yet been able to attend. Let me know if you might get down this way and I will send my numbers and regular email. Sorry you don't have something closer. Virginia Beach is about an hour for me as is Richmond. It is probably more mileage for you than me but the same amount of time because of city traffic! Thanks and God bless! Carrie

Hey Sarah, Do you belong to the regional ACFW group? We have a handful of us meeting down in Hampton Roads now, too, that Kit got going. I'm in Yorktown and there are three from Chesapeake and one from Norfolk.

Sarah -- good to see you here on Shoutlife. Wish I could've caught up with you and your hubby at the ACFW conference. Maybe next year!
Hope things are going well. Stay in touch!

Hi Sarah. Good gravies, I am so behind in my shoutlife! Not sure when the next book is coming out. My guess is sometime 2010.

Sarah,
I got a setback about the 2nd novel--the committee turned it down. I'm not a new writer so I was surprised when it sent me into a terrible funk. Church today helped, though, and it's still at other houses. I appreciate the prayers.

hey! glad you made contact with me. i've always known that God was going to use me in big ways, and the passion i have for the world and big problems in 3rd world countries definitely led me to IJM. and yes, Beauty and the Beast is awesome! what girl doesn't like a princess story?! i would love to get to know you more! a lot has happened with my life recently, so having someone to chat with is a blessing. anyway, talk to you late!

Oh Sarah,
I spent so much time at Sandbridge that you wouldn't believe it. Back then, it really was secluded. I graduated from Kellam in 1970 and from ODU in 1974. Soit was a long time ago.

Thanks for the prayers. Shoulder surgery takes a long time to get over. I'm still having to exercise alot.

I'll talk to you later.
Hugs,
Karen

Hi Sarah,
Yey! Another person from Virginia Beach! I love Virginia and I loved growing up in VB. Of course, if you've gone back recently, it is growing so fast that you almost can't find your way around anymore. I was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church in my teen years and Mark Stone was the pastor. He was awesome. Sadly, he passed away a few years ago. I surely miss his visits down here.

I loved "Hind's Feet on High Places" and I did read the sequel "Mountains of Spices". I liked it, too, but it didn't really move me as much as "Hind's Feet". I must confess to reading it way more than once. When fear comes along, it is very reassuring.

I'm so glad that you stopped by, Sarah. I hope that you will again. I've been off of SL a lot lately due to shoulder surgery but am working my way back! It's good talking with you!
Blessings,
Karen

Hi Sarah,
I sure hope so--I find out tomorrow if my 2nd novel is getting picked up by a house. Pray my book finds a home, will you? Thx, Linda

Thanks! I'm excited too. Is my book one you'd be interested in reviewing?
