About Karen H. Phillips
In March, 2006, God led me back to something I'd always loved--writing. From conferences to online groups to the local writers guild, I embrace every day as a new opportunity to grow and learn.

Our kids find that Mom has a life after all. My husband's love and support in this writing venture has proved invaluable.

Karen,

I had decided the only reason to get to know my birth parents were if I had a health issue. I had wonderful parents that raised me and also I didn't want to mess up my birth parents lives if they had not told anyone about me.

But when my birth mother died, her adult children found my birth certificate. So they contacted me. They had not been told about me.

Sounds like you have the same wonderful relationship with your children that I had with my parents. *smiles*

Blessings,
Catherine

Karen,

Thank you for the compliment about my music. *smiles*

My mom, the one that adopted me, was my real mom. She was there for all the stuff, good and bad. She was my best friend. *smiles*

Please tell me about your children. You said they are young adults. How old are they? How old were they when you adopted them.

I'm so glad there are people that will adopt and love unconditionally. *smiles*

Blessings,
Catherine
