Sunset Beach (2009)
Sonny Miller is tired of not knowing who she is. Soon she'll begin graduate school to earn her masters in Psychology. But how can she counsel future clients about their identities when she isn't even sure about her own? To that end she has cooked up a little meeting at a certain beach house in San Diego.

Sonny's mother, classical soprano Teresa Miller, isn't aware she's about to be reunited at the beach house with her sister, Melanie Hines, after 25 years of estrangement. And Sonny isn't aware her mother has invited a surprise guest of her own. Russian adoptee, Irina Petrova, finds herself dragged along on a trip so tumultuous she summons her handsome concert violinist brother for moral support.

The four women converge on the funky little beach house in San Diego, each with her own disappointments and hopes about family, identity, and love. For Sonny, the trip reveals all she expected and more than she ever dreamed.

Beach Dreams (2008)
Tiffany LeBoeuf seriously needs to get away. She has just lost her mother to cancer, and she returns home to find herself fired for devoting the past three months to her mother's care. Grieving and stressed, Tiffany seeks rest for her body and soul at a cozy beach house in San Diego.

A scheduling mix-up causes a double booking, and Tiffany ends up sharing the house with a woman named Eve. When Eve's boyfriend, Jeremy Beckett, arrives to surprise Eve, he surprises Tiffany as well. Jeremy and Tiffany share a brief history, and it's not a pretty one. They also share a mutual attraction, and it's not a comfortable one.

Jeremy settles in at the beach house next door, intent on making his love life right. What happens after that surprises them all.

Too Good to Be True (2007)
A contemporary, humorous tale of how love and life unfold in surprising ways.

Rennie Young meets the gallant Truman Sayers after she faints in the boys' department of her local Wal-Mart. Despite this unromantic introduction, Tru Sayers, a handsome young labor-and-delivery nurse, seems like a gift from God. But Ren's recent divorce and other life disappointments cause her to question whether she can trust her heart and God.

This clever novel encourages readers to lean on God's leading and to be open to life after the hurt, even when it seems too good to be true.

The Guy I'm Not Dating (2006)
"Yowza!" exclaims Kara Richardson when she sees the handsome proprietor of the new delicatessen in town, Gabe Paolino, who soon expresses mutual interest. This would be the start of a perfect love story, except for one thing: Kara has vowed to stop dating until she feels God's leading.

But when humorous circumstances send Kara and Gabe on a road trip to Florida, hope springs anew. Even with Kara's flirtatious coworker Tiffany ("a hyena in heels") along for the ride, the uncouple begins a lively journey that could change their paths forever.

This memorable, charming story of love's persistence captures the honor of waiting on God's timing, and the adventure of finding the perfect guy to not date.

About Trish Perry
I write Christian fiction, including romantic comedy, contemporary romance, and even some spiritual warfare. My website is www.trishperry.com. Like many readers, I've always enjoyed taking an occasional break from heavier reading and picking up a funny, romantic novel. But wow, is it ever hard to find one that's funny, romantic, and clean! So in 2006 I joined the relatively small ranks of Christian humorous romance novelists and started writing what I enjoyed reading. My novel, The Guy I'm Not Dating (Harvest House) released in 2006, and the follow-up, Too Good to Be True, released in 2007. Beach Dreams, my contemporary romance (with a heavy dose of humor), released July 2008, and its follow-up, Sunset Beach, in June 2009. I receive encouraging feedback from readers of all ages, from tweens to . . . well, even readers as old as I am!

My humor column, "Real Life is Stranger," appears in the Christian Fiction Online Magazine. The magazine is chock full of terrific articles. I hope you'll visit! http://www.christianfictiononlinemagazine.com/berzerk_stranger.html

Hi again, Trish! Wow, you are in for some busy times what with your son a senior, your upcoming vacay in October, your daughter marrying in Jamaica, not to mention your writing endeavors. Life never slows down, does it. About the time you think you have time for a breather, the next deadline starts looming. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on your soon-coming contract with Harvest House! Is your next series going to be another beach theme? I have to say your book covers look so incredibly inviting. Love the white chairs, the sandy shorelines, the pure blue skies. Sorry to say I haven't had a chance to read them, even though I'm so, so tempted, but then I haven't read anything but my Bible and MY OWN STINKIN' STUFF! (lol) With kids and grands coming around all the time, small group Bible studies, house chores and errands, and my mother to visit, there is just no time to read fiction, especially now that I'm writing it!

What am I working on? Right now, I'm writing #3 in my current series with a deadline of December 1. It's releasing in April '10. After that I have to edit (should I say rewrite?) a contemporary romance that PublishAmerica pubbed in '02. Whitaker is going to reprint it with a release date of Sep. '10, but I tell you, it truly stinketh, so there is much to do to make it ready for even my editor to look at. THEN...I've already signed my contract for my next 3-book series, which will launch in 2011. It's another historical set in the 1920s, so there'll be some cars and ELECTRICITY!! Yea! haha.

Back to my WIP.

Happy busy life and may the Lord just keep blessing you and yours, Trish.

Hugs...
Shar
