I am thrilled that my first novel, "The Taste of Good Fruit" is being released this month. Never could I have imagined that I would actually have the stamina to finish a book with two toddlers at my feet, but God is good!

After graduating from Ohio State University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Russian, I worked at a community college until I decided to pursue my passion. I earned a Master's in English from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and taught English at Alabama A&M, Rochester Institute of Technology, and most recently, Northern Virginia Community College.

While I love teaching, I still felt unsettled until I began writing a story that had been running through my mind for years. It seems a silly, but I really didn't think a whole lot about publishing the story until I was well into writing it.

I really believe that writing is something God has called me to do, and I feel so grateful that I have an opportunity to share with this first novel.

The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful husband and three sons who I'd like to think keep me young.
